E-signatures
A signature, a timestamp, and a fingerprint of what was signed.
The e-signature module gets an agreement read and signed without a separate DocuSign-style account for either of you: your client reads the text on the page and types their full name to agree to it. We keep a record of when, from where, and exactly what document that signature belongs to — plainly, and without pretending it is more than it is.
How it works

Write or paste your agreement
Plain text, up to 20,000 characters, on its own page. Replace the placeholder terms with your own before you send a client anywhere near it.

Your client reads it and types their name
Up to 200 characters, next to a checkbox stating plainly: “I agree that typing my name above counts as my signature on this document, and that this agreement is binding.”

The record is sealed
The moment they sign, we store the time, the IP address we saw, and a fingerprint of the exact document text. Edit the agreement afterwards and existing signatures keep the fingerprint of what was actually signed — not what the page says today.

A typed name, and consent shown in full
The consent line a client agrees to is stored word-for-word alongside their signature, so the record says exactly what they agreed to, not just that they agreed to something.
Timestamp, IP address, document fingerprint
Three pieces of corroborating detail on every signature: when it happened, the IP address the request came from, and a SHA-256 fingerprint of the document text at that moment.
Editing the document does not rewrite history
Change the agreement after someone has signed it and their existing signature keeps its original fingerprint — a mismatch against today’s text is exactly how you would notice the document moved.
Not a certified e-signature service, said plainly
This is a simple electronic signature, honest about what it is: enough for the everyday agreements most service businesses sign. For anything high-stakes, check with your own lawyer first.

A couple of things worth asking.
Is this legally binding?
It records a simple electronic signature — enough for the everyday agreements most service businesses sign, and it will show if the document was edited afterwards. It is not a certified e-signature service, so for anything high-stakes, ask your own lawyer first.
Can I reuse an agreement across clients?
Yes — the text lives on the page, and every client assigned to it signs their own copy of the same wording, each with its own timestamp and fingerprint.
What if I need to update the agreement later?
Edit the page and the new text applies going forward. Signatures already collected are untouched — they keep the fingerprint of what was actually on the page when they signed.
